It started with two letters at a cafe table in Paris.

My mom and I were in Paris, sitting in a cafe with nothing we had to do next, and we each wrote a letter to ourselves. We sealed them, agreed not to open them for a year, and put them away.

A year later the letters came out. Neither of us was the person who had written them. Reading your own handwriting from a year ago is a strange, kind thing to do for yourself, and we wanted to hand that to other people.

So Enclosed, With Love is a table. You sit down, you write, we seal it with wax and keep it safe, and on the date you chose it arrives in the post. That is the whole idea, and we are careful not to add to it.

We are based in Olathe, Kansas, and we pop up across the Kansas City area: farmers markets, cafes, holiday markets, and private events on both sides of the state line. If you want to know where we will be next, leave your email and you will get one message when a date is set.
